Reiki

Reiki was one of my early additions. I completed a level 1 while studying Toyohari Meridian Therapy and spent 12 months in the Reiki space before completing my level 2. I learned and practice the Jin Kei Do style of Reiki.

What I love about Reiki is it is the only style of therapeutics I have learnt where the clinician is not the centre of attention. I find the challenge of sustaining a clear conduit to be an ongoing area of attention, and far more difficult than the challenge of clinical assessment and logical reductionism.

As for many Reiki practitioners it is hard to say when the Reiki is on and when it’s off. As any enthusiast will know, it as much a way of life as a healing modality.

So, what does that mean for you when you come to my clinic? My day starts and concludes with Reiki practices, so there will always be a bit of Reiki in everything I do. But if you want Reiki as a stand alone just let me know and we can make arrangements from there
